Smart Meter installations are underway and we want to ensure our customers that NOTHING WILL CHANGE at this point!  We are simply installing new meters.

All of our contractors have photo identification.  Your power will be off for approximately 5 to 10 minutes and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Please note that it is important for you to keep yourself informed and review in full any contracts you are offered prior to making a decision.  You are NOT required to sign a contract with an energy retailer once your Smart Meter is installed.

Brant County Power would like to thank all the students at Paris District High School who committed to doing their part by getting family and friends to take the Power Pledge.  At our Community Barbeque on July 23rd we presented prizes to the winning students.  For each Power Pledge that the student returned a ballot with their name was entered.  The winner of the iPod nano was Connor Allen of Burford, Jessica McGregor of Paris won the iPod touch and Bailey Schneider-Court also of Paris was presented with the Samsung digital camera.  Congratulations to all the Contest Winners and a huge thanks!!!!
